[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 시민 참여 문화 활성화를 위한 생활문화 동아리들의 연합 버스킹을 오는 오는 28일 일요일 오후 5시, 지행동 어린이공원(정보도서관 옆)에서 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

“동두천을 새롭게, 시민을 힘나게”라는 시정 슬로건을 내걸고 출범한 민선8기 동두천시는 시민들의 삶의 만족도를 높이는 방법 중 하나로 생활문화 동아리 활동에 주목해 이번 행사를 마련했다. 

생활문화 동아리는 경쟁사회에서 잠시 벗어나 시민들간 교류와 협력을 통해 삶의 보람을 느끼는 효용을 제공해 시민 참여 문화정책의 중요한 주체가 되고 있다. 

이번 동아리 버스킹은 동두천생활문화센터 동아리 네트워크 중 ‘카리스 통기타 클럽’과 ‘프레이즈 플롯 앙상블’의 연합 공연으로 「2022 경기도 문화의 날 프로그램 : 문화가 있는 오늘, 동두천」의 일환으로 개최된다. 

한편, 8월 28일 “동아리 버스킹”에 이어 9월 문화의 날 주간에는 동아리 회원들이 직접 꾸미는 “동두천 들꽃전”을 개최할 예정이며, 10월에는 제5회 생활문화축제 등 다양한 시민 주도 프로그램을 추진할 예정이다.
