[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시정부는 지난 2020년부터 장애인이 살만한 도시 구현의 일환으로 장벽없는 도시 조성 사업을 추진하고 있다고 전했다.

시정부에 따르면 2020년 10월부터 2021년 11월까지 춘천 지역 내 관광지 및 상가 166곳에 장애인도 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 경사로 등 편의시설이 설치됐다고 했다.

올해도 사업비 5,000만원을 투입해 후평동 등 70개소에 편의시설을 설치할 방침이라고 전했다.

시정부 관계자는 “전국 최초로 장애 인지적 정책 조례를 제정한 시정부는 올해도 장벽없는 거리 조성에 박차를 가할 것”이라고 말했다.
