[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 1일, 가평군은 기정액 대비 757억원(15.38%)이 증가한 5,682억원 규모의 '제1회 추가경정 예산을 확정'하였다고 밝혔다. 

이번 추경안은 지역균형 발전 등 민선 7기 주요 사업의 원활한 마무리와 군민의 기본생활편의 시설 보급, 지역 경기 활성화에 중점을 두고 편성하였다고 전했다.

주요 추진 사업으로 길어진 경기침제로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인과 서민 가계 안정화를 위한 소상공인 신용보증수수료 지원과 소상공인 경영컨설팅 지원 등 소상공인 지원에 23억원, 코로나19 감염병 관리 대응에 3억원을 편성하였다고 했다.

아울러 침체된 지역경제 활성화를 위해 편성한 주요 투자사업으로 자라섬 수변생태관광벨트 조성(출렁다리) 30억원, 가평읍 중로3-10호선(교량) 외 도시계획도로 개설 82억원, 재활용선별시설 증설 3억원, 한석봉도서관 주차장 및 진입도로 조성 15억원, 청평면 상천역세권 개발 외 지구단위계획조성 25억원, 북면 101호선 외 농어촌도로 개설 17억원, 조종면 행정복지센터 앞 제방도로 보행로 설치 13억원, 상면 연하리 지방상수도 공급 외 급수취약지역 상수도 보급사업 50억원, 설악면 공공하수처리시설 증설 외 환경기초시설 및 오수관로 정비에 25억원을 편성하였다고 밝혔다.

또한 가평군은 GTX-B 노선의 연장을 위해 각 2억 5천만원을 춘천시와 공동으로 부담하고자 추경 편성하였고, 빠르면 5월에 GTX-B 노선의 가평·춘천 연장을 위한 사전 타당성 조사용역에 착수하여 하반기에 예정되어 있는 민자사업 기본계획에 반영 등 당위성을 관계기관에 적극 건의할 계획이며, 역세권 기반시설과 음악역 1939 조성을 위해 발행한 지방채 82억원을 이번 추경을 통해 전액 조기 상환한다고 했다. 

조기 상환을 통해 약 2억7천만원의 이자 비용을 줄이고 지방채 제로화를 실현해 재정건전성은 물론 재정운영 효율성도 크게 개선될 것으로 기대되며, 또한 이번 추경에 반영함으로써 지역인재양성을 위한 장학기금 300억원을 조기 달성을 이루게 되었다고 전했다.
