[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일부터 18일까지 이틀간 의정부시의회는 제313회 임시회를 열어 2022년도 제2회 추가경정예산안을 심의했다고 밝혔다.

지난 3일 의정부시장의 소집 요구가 있어 코로나19 생활지원비 사업 등의 예산안을 처리하고자 임시회를 개회했으며, 지난 17일 제1차 본회의에서 제2회 추가경정예산안에 대한 제안설명을 청취하고 각 상임위원회에서 예산안에 대한 예비심사를 마쳤다고 했다.

18일 예산·결산특별위원회(임호석 위원장, 이계옥 부위원장, 조금석, 안지찬, 김영숙 위원)에서 예산안을 종합 심사하였고, 제2차 본회의에서 시에서 제출한 98억 3,875만 원 규모의 추가경정예산안에 대해 총 5억 2,199만 원을 삭감하여 확정했다고 했다.

한편 임시회 제1차 본회의에서는 임호석, 이계옥, 구구회 의원이, 제2차 본회의에서는 임호석 의원이 각각 5분 자유발언을 했다고 전했다.

오범구 의장은 “원포인트 임시회 소집 요구와 관련하여 의회와 집행부간 소통이 원활하게 이루어지지 못한 것 같아 매우 아쉽다. 집행부는 시민들의 뜻이 시정에 잘 반영될 수 있도록 좀 더 적극적인 소통에 노력을 기울이기 바란다”라고 말했다.
