[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 4일, 동두천시는 적극행정 공직문화 조성 및 확산을 위해 4명의 적극행정 우수공무원을 최종 선발했다고 밝혔다. 

시는 지난 1월 13일부터 2월 11일까지 시민 및 부서로부터 적극행정 우수공무원을 추천받았으며, 선발 결과 '최우수 공보전산과 황수연 팀장', '우수 도시재생과 김현철 팀장, 중앙동행정복지센터 변형철 주무관, 보건소 유재혁 주무관'이 각각 선발됐다고 했다. 

적극행정 최우수 공무원의 영예를 안은 공보전산과 황수연 팀장은 코로나19 자가격리 모니터링 자동등록 시스템, 질병관리청시스템 업로드용 자료추출시스템, PCR검사 결과 안내 시스템을 개발하고 타 시군에 무상 배포를 통해 코로나19 팬데믹에 적극 대응한 공로로 선발되었다고 전했다.

우수공무원으로 뽑힌 '도시재생과 김현철 팀장'은 적극적인 준비와 대응을 통해 공모전에 선정되어 예산 166억 원을 확보, 지역경쟁력 회복을 위한 도시재생사업에 기여하였고, '중앙동 행정복지센터 변형철 주무관'은 코로나19로 대면 복지 상담이 어려운 상황에 적극 대응하여 비대면 복지사각지대 발굴 및 민·관협력체계를 구축하여 작년대비 2배이상의 복지사각지대를 발굴한 공을 인정받았으며, '보건소 유재혁 주무관'은 코로나19 상황으로 인한 확진자 역학조사 및 환자 이송 등의 업무를 적극적으로 수행해 시민의 안전을 확보했으며 직원들의 업무부담 경감으로 이어졌다는 평가를 받았다고 했다.
