[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도는 도의 캐릭터로서 귀여운 모습과 긍정정인 이미지로 큰 인기를 끌고 있는 범이&곰이 인스타그램을 3월부터 본격적으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.

강원도는 그동안 ‘범이&곰이’가 도민들과 소통하기 위해 캐릭터를 연계한 다양한 사업을 추진했으나, 최근 코로나19 감염증 확산으로 원활한 추진이 어려운 상황이었으며, 이에 따라 사회관계망서비스(SNS) 채널을 본격 운영함으로써 도민들과의 소통 창구를 확대하고자 한다고 전했다. 

범이&곰이 인스타그램 채널은 ‘21년 10월부터 개설이 되어 시범 운영되어 왔으며, 올해부터는 범이&곰이의 특성과 스토리텔링을 담은 콘텐츠들로 다양한 세대와의 소통에 적극 나설 예정이라고 했다.

구독자들과 함께하는 참여형 이벤트를 월 1회 개최하고, 오는 3월 17일부터는 ‘범이&곰이’ 스토리 콘텐츠가 주 1회 업로드 될 예정이며, 코로나19 상황에 따라 학교와 길거리, 시장, 지하상가 등 도민들을 직접 만날 수 있는 오프라인 이벤트도 진행할 계획이라고 했다.

최문순 강원도지사는 “범이&곰이가 가진 특성에 초점을 맞추고 스토리텔링을 담은 캐릭터 특화 콘텐츠를 통해 정체성을 확립해 나갈 것이며, 범이&곰이를 도민들 모두가 사랑하는 캐릭터로 성장시킬 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
