[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7일 강원도는 도내 드론산업 육성 및 기술개발을 위한「드론 우수기업 실증지원 사업」으로 재난대응 1건, 생활안전 2건, 스마트팜 1건, 엔터테인먼트 3건 등 총 7개 기업을 최종 선정했다고 밝혔다. 

이 사업은 도내 드론 분야 중소기업의 기술개발 및 사업화를 지원하여 기업의 제품 및 서비스 경쟁력을 강화하고자 올해 처음 실시하는 사업으로 강원도는 1~2월에 참여기업 모집을 진행했으며, 심사는 서면평가와 발표평가로 두 차례로 걸쳐 진행됐고, 전문가로 구성된 평가위원회는 사업의 필요성, 실현가능성, 추진의지 등을 종합적으로 평가하여 7개 기업을 최종 선정했다고 했다.

이번에 선정 된 기업은 ㈜가온지리정보, 강원날다드론협동조합, 드론메이커스항공, ㈜삼성드론, ㈜솔더, 엠씨드론(주), 영월드론비행교육원 이며,(가나다 순) 이들 기업은 도로 위험 관리 실증, 디지털 스마트팜 구축, 실내 시설물 점검 드론 개발, 메타버스 기술을 활용한 드론관제 플랫폼개발, 드론 활용을 통한 마케팅 영상 촬영, 군집드론 특화 드론 개발 등을 목표로 실증을 진행할 예정이라고 했다.

이번 사업은 재난대응, 생활안전, 스마트팜, 엔터테인먼트, 기타 등 5개 분야로 나누어 지원되는 사업으로 강원도 특성에 맞는 드론 비즈니스 모델 발굴을 위하여 새로운 드론 서비스와 기술을 실제 도심에서 구현 할 수 있도록 보다 많은 드론 실증 지원 기회를 제공하고자 하는데 그 의미가 있다고 했다.

선정된 기업은 실증 과제 특성 등을 감안하여 최대 1억 원 이내에서 도비와 시군비를 지원받아 사업내용, 지원규모 등의 협의를 거쳐 3월부터 사업에 본격 착수하여 시제품 개발, 소프트웨어 개발 등 각 분야별 실증을 추진하게 된다고 했다.

또한, 사업관리기관으로 선정된 강원도경제진흥원은 선정사업이 연말 성과보고회 시 좋은 결과물이 나올 수 있도록 안정적 지원을 추진해 나갈 예정이라고 했다. 

한편, 드론 우수기업 실증지원 사업 설명회가 도, 드론기업 관계자들이 참여한 가운데 3월 18일 강원도경제진흥원에서 개최되며, 이번 행사에서는 드론 우수기업 실증지원 사업 설명회 뿐 만 아니라 협약식 및 기업별 컨설팅 수요조사가 함께 진행된다고 전했다.

강원도 항공해운과장은 ”도내 기업과 연계한 강원도형 드론 비즈니스 모델 지원을 통한 신산업 창출로 일자리 창출 및 도내 드론 분야 기업의 기술 자립력을 확보할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.“고 밝혔다.
