향후 강원도는 글로벌 관광수요를 선점하기 위하여 싱가포르 등 여행안전권역(VTL) 국가를 중심으로 웰니스관광 콘텐츠를 홍보하고, 국제관광 재개에 대비해 안심관광 방역시스템을 선제적으로 도입하는 등 위드코로나 대비 외국인 관광객을 적극 유치할 예정이라고 전했다.
