[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 15일부터 17일까지 3일간 강원도가 주최하고 2018평창 기념재단이 주관하는 ‘2022 평창장애포럼(PyeongChang Disability Forum, PDF)’이 강릉 세인트존스 호텔에서 온·오프라인 하이브리드 행사로 개최된다고 밝혔다. 

 

올해 3회 째를 맞는 평창장애포럼은 ‘누구도 배제되지 않는 세상’ 및 ‘패럴림픽 무브먼트로 물들다’ 라는 두 개의 슬로건 아래 코로나19 위기 상황 속에서 장애인 권리실현을 위한 포괄적인 사회 발전 방안에 대해 논의할 예정이라고 했다.

 

코로나 19의 장기화로 인한 지원 정책 고립 문제와 장애인 이동권, 노동권, 교육권 등 다양한 권리 보장의 중요성과 필요성에 대하여 정책 관계자 및 국내외 유관 분야 전문가, 그리고 유명 인플루언서 및 사회적 기업 관계자와 함께 활발한 토론이 진행된다고 했다.

 

2022 평창장애포럼은 대한장애인체육회(KPC), 한국장애포럼(KDF), 강원도장애인단체연합회, 강원도장애인체육회가 협력 기관으로 함께 포럼을 준비하여 지역사회 통합을 위한 정책 마련을 위한 활발한 논의를 이어갈 예정이라고 전했다.

 

이번 포럼은 ‘2018 평창 패럴림픽의 유산과 장애인스포츠의 확산’, ‘민관협치를 통한 장애인 정책 개발’ 이라는 두 가지 주제로 장애인 스포츠, 인권, 정책 등 다양한 주제와 이슈에 대해 논의를 진행하며, 주요 프로그램으로는 개·폐회식, 기조세션, 분임세션, 랩업세션, 라운드테이블 등이 있다고 했다.

 

오는 3월 15일, 포럼의 개막을 알리는 개회식에는 최문순 강원도지사가 현장에 참석할 예정이며, 유엔장애인권리위원회 김미연 위원장도 온라인 축사 영상으로 포럼에 참여할 계획이라고 했다.

 

기조 세션은 국제장애연맹 블라디미르 쿠크 전무이사, UN 접근성 관련 공식단체인 ‘G3ict’ 제임스 서스턴 부사장, 경동대학교 송석록 교수, 벨기에 하셀트 대학교 휴버트 프로이온 교수 등 관련 협력 기관의 다양한 이해관계자를 연사로 초청하여 장애 공감 형성 및 장애 인식의 폭을 넓히기 위한 포용적인 강연을 진행한다고 했다.

 

오는 3월 16일, 라운드 테이블은 장애인 인식 개선에 앞장서는 유튜브 크리에이터 박 위를 특별 MC로 초청하여, 우리콜시스템 전재혁 대표, 고요한택시 송민호 대표와 함께 에이블테크*를 활용한 장애인 이동권과 노동권 문제 해결 및 발전 방향에 대하여 토크쇼가 진행된다고 했다.

한편 강원도와 평창장애포럼 사무국은 오미크론으로 가속화된 코로나 팬데믹 상황 속에서 포럼을 안전하게 치르기 위해 방역에 최선을 다하고 있다고 전했다. 

 

현장 참석은 협력 기관 관계자와 발표자, 토론자 등으로 최소화하여 운영하고, 포럼의 일부 세션은 한·영·수어 동시통역과 함께 실시간으로 중계하여 온·오프라인 하이브리드 포럼으로 진행한다고 했다.
