[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 7일부터 가평군은 축산관련시설로 인한 지역주민들과의 악취민원을 예방하고 친환경적인 축산경영을 유지하기 위해 관내 축산 농가를 순회하는 '악취저감 액상 미생물 살포차량'을 도내 지자체 최초로 자체 운행하기로 하였다고 밝혔다.  

3월 한달은 일교차로 인한 기온에 적응하고 미생물 살포차량의 시범적 운행차원에서 관내 젖소사육농가 위주로 순회 실시할 계획이며 오는 4월부터는 한우, 돼지, 양계, 기타농가로도 확대하여 500여농가를 순회할 계획이라고 전했다.

그간 축산관련시설로 인해 매년 지속적으로 반복되는 악취민원을 최대한 예방하고, 지난 2021년 3월 25일부터 시행되고 있는 가축분뇨의 부숙도검사에 따른 자연순환농업을 활성화하고자 금년도에 군 특수시책으로 추진하게 되었으며 이를 위해 살포 인력 2명을 고용하여 올해 10월말까지 운행할 계획이라고 했다. 

액상미생물 살포차량 순회실시는 농업기술센터에서 생산하는 악취저감효과가 있는 광합성균과 고초균을 2:1로 100~150배 희석하여 축산관련시설에 상존하고 있는 악취입자를 제거하고 가축분뇨에는 부숙활성화를 통해 농경지 지력증진에 도움이 되는 축분발효퇴비 생산에도 일조할 것으로 기대하고 있어 노령화 및 인력부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 축산농가에 크게 기여할 것으로 판단하고, 또한 유익한 액상미생물 살포는 정부가 추진하고 있는 탄소중립 2050선언에도 축산분야 탄소저감대책으로 같이 추진하고 있어 친환경 축산정책의 기틀을 마련하는 계기가 될 것으로도 보고 있다고 전했다.
