[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도는 도내 18개 시군과 함께 3월 개학기를 맞아 도내 어린이들의 안전한 학교생활을 위해 학교주변 위해요인 안전점검과 위해식품 및 유해환경 점검과 단속을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 안전한 학교주변 환경조성을 위해 오는 31일까지 도내  18개 시‧군 초등학교 주변 교통안전·유해환경·식품안전·불법광고물 등 4개 안전취약분야를 합동으로 점검하게 된다고 했다.

교통안전분야에서는 어린이보호구역 준수, 통학차량 안전수칙 준수, 학교주변 공사장 통행로 확보를 위주로 점검하고, 유해환경분야는 학교주변 지역에서 이뤄지는 신·변종업소의 불법영업 행위가 주요 단속대상이며, 식품분야에서는 식중독 예방 및 부정·불량식품 판매 등을 중심으로 위생 관리 상태를 점검하게 된다고 했다.

불법광고물 분야는 노후‧불량간판 안전관리 강화 및 정비를 추진하고 선정적인 유해광고물을 중점 단속하게 된다고 전했다.

이와 관련하여 도 재난예방과 민생사법팀은 식품안전분야 및 유해환경분야에 대해 집중적으로 단속하여 자녀들이 안전하게 학교에 다닐 수 있도록 안전관리를 하겠다고 밝혔다.
