[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 2일부터 18일까지 춘천시청년청은 ‘청년기자단 3기’ 모집을 시작한다고 밝혔다. 

대외활동을 넘어 실무경험과 역량을 강화할 수 있는 이번 제3기 청년기자단에 어떤 청년들이 함께하게 될지 귀추가 주목된다고 했다. 

2020년부터 시작된 청년기자단 활동은 어느새 3기를 맞이했으며, 2021년 처음 발행된 ‘NEW WAVE’는 춘천시청년청의 정기소식지로 청년의 눈으로 바라본 춘천의 이야기, 청년의 이야기를 담고 있다고 했다. 

이번에 모집될 제3기 청년기자단 또한 2기의 활동을 이어받아 NEW WAVE를 제작하는 제작자 역할을 할 예정이라고 전했다.

춘천에 거주하는 만 19세~39세 청년으로 트렌드에 관심이 많고, 글쓰기나 디자인 작업에 대해 실무적인 경험을 해보고 싶은 청년이라면 누구나 할 수 있다고 했다.

모집인원은 10명으로 취재부 8인, 편집부 2인으로 구성되고, 제3기 청년기자단 신청방법은 지원서 작성 후 담당자 전자우편으로 제출하면 된다고 전했다. 

선발된 기자들은 사전교육 및 정기회의를 통해 정기소식지 제작에 함께할 수 있게 되고, 올해 청년기자단은 3명의 멘토가 함께해 교육부터 제작까지 청년들의 역량이 향상될 수 있도록 10개월간 멘토링을 한다고 했다.

활동기간은 3월 말부터 12월까지 총 10개월로 교육 기간을 제외한 활동기간 동안 소정의 원고료가 지급되며, 특히 연말에는 청년기자 활동을 마무리하는 성과공유회가 열린다고 했다. 

이 행사에는 한 해의 활동을 마무리하는 청년기자단에 춘천시장 명의의 수료증이 수여되며, 우수 활동 기자를 표창하고, 자세한 사항은 춘천시청년청 홈페이지 내 공지사항에서 ‘청년기자단 모집 공고’를 참고하면 된다고 전했다.
