[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시정부가 올해 청년이 삶과 가치를 공유하는 도시에 다가선다고 밝혔다.

시정부는 올해 국비 등 사업비 102억원을 투입해 청년정책 4개 분야 39개 사업을 추진한며, 코로나19 장기화와 경제 여건 악화에 대응해 일자리, 생활, 문화 등 청년의 삶 전반을 아우르는 정책이라고 했다.

또 청년이 지역에서 행복을 찾고 도전하며 안정된 자립을 할 수 있는 청년 활동을 활성화하고, 4개 분야는 일자리, 교육, 생활안정, 참여·권리이며, 39개 사업은 부업 대학생 운영·관리, 청년 지원 사업, 춘천시 지역특화 청년일자리, 청년예술인 공연예술 창작교류사업, 청년농업인 경쟁력 제고, 지역선도대학 육성, 청년내일저축계좌 지원 등이라고 했다.

시정부 관계자는 “청년의 사회 참여 확대를 통한 청년의 수요와 필요에 기반한 청년주도 정책을 찾고, 시정에 적극적으로 반영할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편 시정부에 따르면 2021년 12월 기준 춘천 청년 인구는 전체 인구의 26.4%인 7만4,757명이라고 전했다.
