[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코는 2020년 3월부터 채무상환 유예 등 코로나19 특별조치를 올해 상반기까지 6차례에 걸쳐 실시하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이는 코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 금융취약계층의 채무상환 부담 완화를 위한 한시적인 특별조치이며, 이를 통해 캠코는 채무자 중 채무조정 약정자에 대해서는 채무감면, 상환유예, 연체이자 감면 등 7,092억원(7.1만명) 규모의 채무부담을 완화해 주고 있다고 했다. 

또한, 채무조정 미약정자에 대해서는 강제경매 등 적극적 추심활동을 한시적으로 유예하는 등 금융취약계층의 코로나19 위기 극복 지원을 위한 포용금융정책을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다고 했다. 

따라서 이러한 조치는 코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 금융취약계층 지원을 위한 불가피한 조치라고 전했다.

[Reporter Il-woong Kim = Northern Gyeonggi/Gangwon] Camco announced that it has been implementing special measures for COVID-19, such as deferment of debt repayment, six times from March 2020 until the first half of this year.

This is a temporary special measure to alleviate the debt repayment burden of the financially disadvantaged class who are suffering from the prolonged Corona 19, and through this, Camco will pay 709.2 billion won ( 71,000) of debt burden.

In addition, he said that he is continuing to promote an inclusive financial policy to support the financially vulnerable classes in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis, such as temporarily suspending active collection activities such as forced auctions for those who have not committed to debt adjustment.

Therefore, it is said that these measures are an unavoidable measure to support the financially disadvantaged class who are having difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19.
