[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 농업인으로부터 큰 호응을 얻었던 농산물 직거래 택배비 지원 사업이 올해도 지속적으로 추진된다고 전했다.

춘천시정부는 농업인 유통비용 경감을 위해 농산물 직거래 택배비를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

유통환경 변화에 대응해 농산물 택배 판매를 확대하고 춘천농산물의 인지도 강화 및 홍보를 위해 추진한다.

시정부에 따르면 지난해 525개 농가에 농산물 택배 6만 6,000건을 지원했으며, 올해 지원 규모는 총 3만건으로 지원은 택배비의 50%라고 했다. 

택배 1건당 2,000원 한도이며, 1년간 연 25건 이상 500건 이하로 작년대비 지원한도가 2배 늘어 최대 100만원까지 받을 수 있다고 전했다.

사업 대상은 본인이 직접 생산한 농산물 및 농산가공품을 직거래하는 관내 농업인 및 생산자 단체이며, 지원 품목은 지역 생산 농산물과 농산물가공품이며 축·수산물은 제외된다고 했다.

신청 기간은 오는 2월 24일까지이며, 신청인 거주 및 농지 소재지에 있는 읍‧면‧동 사무소에서 가능하고, 동 지역의 경우 근화동, 강남동, 신사우동에 한해 신청할 수 있다고 했다.

시정부 관계자는 “관내 농산물의 판매채널을 확대하고 농업인들의 유통비용을 경감하기 위한 사업”이라며 “직거래 활성화로 유통단계 축소 및 농가소득 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
