최우홍 강원도 예산과장은 “이번 명절 통행료 유료화 정책은 지역 간 이동을 최소화하고 불필요한 통행을 억제하기 위한 불가피한 조치임을 도민들께서 이해해 주시기를 바라며, 설 명절동안 미시령터널을 이용하시는 분들께서 불편함이 없도록 시설물 관리에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
