[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시정부가 국비 등 사업비 120억원을 투입해 조성하는 춘천 먹거리 복합문화공간 ‘화동 2571’을 운영할 적임자 찾기에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

‘화동 2571’ 은 우리의 농식품 자원을 활용한 먹거리 개발과 안심먹거리 소비 다각화의 전진기지이며, 위치는 근화동 154-7번지 일대로 부지면적은 2만1,060㎡, 건축 면적은 1,721㎡라고 했다.

이곳에는 운영지원센터, 창업 A·B·C동, 자전거 보관소, 우리숲 체험관이 들어서며, 먹거리 관련 사업을 체계적으로 육성하고, 지역 농산물을 지역 내에서 소비할 수 있는 체계를 확립하기 위한 핵심 시설 중 하나라고 했다.

무엇보다 새로운 먹거리 가치를 창출하는 변화의 중심이 될 공간이고, 이처럼 시정부의 핵심 시설 중 하나가 될 ‘화동, 2571’는 2025년 3월까지 민간 위탁으로 운영될 예정이라고 했다.

이를 위해 ‘화동, 2571’ 운영 민간위탁 수탁기관 공모를 다음달 진행할 방침이며, 위탁기간은 2022년 4월부터 2025년 3월이며 위탁금액은 연간 5억원이라고 했다.

위탁기관은 부지 및 건축물 관리, 사업 운영 등 전반과 입주 청년 사업과 관리를 하고, 또 입주청년 역량강화 및 네트워킹 활성화, 각종 프로그램 운영 및 마케팅, 공간운영, 외부공간 관리를 수행한다고 전했다.
