이를 해결하기 위해 시정부는 2021년 춘천시민 홈페이지를 구축하고 올해 오픈했으며, 먼저 메뉴를 개편하고 간소화해 홈페이지 정보 접근성을 크게 향상시켰다고 전했다. 

특히 홈페이지 메인화면 내 ‘오늘, 춘천’을 알리는 사진을 올려 오늘의 춘천 상황을 한눈에 확인할 수 있고, 또한 서버를 이중화하고 전용 저장 공간을 만들어 홈페이지 트래픽 증가 시 대응 관리 기반의 안정성을 강화했다고 했다.

춘천시민 홈페이지의 경우 춘천시의 경제·복지·문화/레저 등을 확인할 수 있고, 기존 춘천시청 홈페이지에서는 행정에 대한 정보를 확인할 수 있으며, 새롭게 바뀐 춘천시민 홈페이지 주소는 기존과 마찬가지라고 했다.

시정부는 올해 춘천시청 홈페이지의 개편을 통해 홈페이지 이용자의 편의성을 증진할 계획이라고 전했다.
