[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평재능기부전문인력뱅크 이사장 한규동은 ‘가평재능기부전문인력뱅크’ 출범식 및 취임식을 오는 11월 14일 15시에 1939 음악역(가평군 가평읍 석봉로 100)에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 출범식에는 식전 행사로 4개 학교 동아리 활동과 음악을 하는 학생들의 공연도 준비되어 있으며, ‘가평재능기부전문인력뱅크’는 가평관내 4개 중.고등학교 총동문회장을 중심으로 2년간 논의 끝에 출범하게 됐다고 했다.

가평재능기부전문인력뱅크는 개별적으로 모교 학생들에게 진로와 진학에 대한 선배들이 멘토링 하던 것을 발전시켜 만든 설악중․고동문회 재능기부멘토단이 모태가 됐다고 전했다. 

매월 선배 특강과 년 1회 진로축제를 5년간 성공리에 진행해왔으며, 이를 좀 더 확장하여 다양한 직업군의 선배들이 더 많은 후배들을 만나 멘토링 하기 위하여 가평군재능기부 인재풀 ‘전문인력뱅크’를 출범하게 됐다고 했다.

가평군 출신으로 정치, 법조, 교육, 경제, 문화, 농업, 장인, 체육 등 각 분야에서 활동하고 있는 전문가 멘토와 자문위원을 포함, 약 400여명이 가평지역 청소년들을 위하여 재능을 기부하고자 참여했으며, 특히 가평출신이 아니더라도 현재 가평에 거주하거나 지인으로 추천 받은 분들도 자문위원으로 참여한다고 했다. 

‘가평재능기부전문인력뱅크’는 비영리 단체로 등록을 마쳤고 가평지역 사회단체로써 앞으로 다양한 방법으로 지역사회에 재능을 기부 할 예정이다. 멘토가 되어주신 분들에게는 교육자원봉사 시간이 주어 주어지게 된다고 했다.

한규동 이사장은 앞으로 취업 박람회를 개최하여 동문기업과 학생들을 연계하여 마을과 관내 기업이 학생들을 위하여 다양한 방법으로 지원할 수 있는 장을 마련하고, 참여 기업이 보다 현실적인 사회공헌을 할 수 있도록 유도할 예정이며, 좋은 일자리를 통해 가평에 정착하는 청년들이 늘어나 가평의 인구도 증가하는 선순환 등 사회공헌을 통해 사회에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이 기대된다고 말했다.

한편, 초대 이사장으로 취임 하는 한규동 이사장은 2019년 서울시공무원 서기관 명예퇴직,  (현)대통령직속 국가균형발전위원회 자문단위원, (사)한국캘리그라피디자인협회이사, (사)한국미술협회 캘리그라피분과이사, 은평구문화재단이사로 있다고 했다. 

또한 시인, 캘리그라피 작가로 활동하면서 제33회 추사 김정희선생 휘호대회 심사위원 역임, 제38회 국전 서예분과 캘리그라피 분야 심시위원장 역임하며 2018평창 동계올릭픽 캘리그러피 퍼포먼스를 통해 한글의 우수성을 세계에 알리는 행사를 진행 한 바 있고, 2020년 대한민국녹조근정 훈장, 2017년 대한민국봉사대상, 2016 경기도 교육감 상을 수상했다고 했다.
