[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 2시경 가평군은 가평배수펌프장 내 유수지에서 협업기능부서와 유관기간 등 30여명이 참여한 가운데 폭설대응 장비기능 훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

실제 제설장비 동원 훈련을 통해 자원 공동활용 체계를 유지하며 관련기관 및 가평군 지역자율방재단 간의 합동 대응태세를 점검함으로써 폭설시 매뉴얼에 따라 신속한 대응능력을 함양하기 위해 추진됐다고 했다.

덤프트럭, 백호우, 트렉터, 제설차, 제설차량, 보행제설 등의 장비 9대가 동원되어 실제와 같은 긴장감 속에서 훈련이 이루어졌다고 전했다.

훈련에 참석한 관계자들은 이번 훈련을 통해 폭설시 신속한 대응의 중요성을 다시 한 번 실감하고 훈련과정에서 노출된 미비점을 보완하여 겨울철 폭설대응에 상호 협조체계를 더욱 강화하기로 했다고 전했다.

가평군 관계자는 “재난관리 협업 기관들과의 긴밀한 협조체계 구축으로 폭설 상황에 신속하게 제설작업을 실시하는 등 군민들의 불편을 최소화하기 위해 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
