[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 지난 10월 15일(1회차), 18일(2회차) 113명의 공직자를 대상으로 비대면 공직자 여성친화도시 일반과정 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

코로나19 사회적 거리두기 방역수칙 준수 등에 따라 비대면으로 진행된 이번 교육은 1회차(15일)에 먼저 마을바람 협동조합 기획이사 박지영 강사의 강의로‘성인지 정책에 대한 이해’를 시작하고, 두 번째 대전세종연구원 책임연구위원인 염인섭 박사의 강의로‘여성친화도시 제도와 사례’를 소개함으로써 여성친화도시 교육에 내실화를 다졌다고 했다.

2회차(18일)에도 동일 주제로 첫 번째 서울대학교 여성연구소 선임연구원 이호숙 강사의‘성인지 정책에 대한 이해’및 두 번째 젠더와정책연구소 소장 조연숙 강사의‘여성친화도시 제도와 사례’강의로 여성친화도시 제도 및 우수사례 등을 소개함으로써 성인지 감수성을 높이고 향후 각종 성평등한 정책을 추진하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다고 했다. 

안병용 의정부시장은 “우리 시가 2013년 여성친화도시 제1단계 최초 지정(경기북부 최초 지정) 후 2018년 제2단계 재지정(경기북부 최초 재지정) 된 이후에도 한층 성숙된 부서별 여성친화도시 조성사업을 토대로 가족과 여성이 행복한 의정부시 구현 및 2023년 3단계 재지정을 위하여 노력하고 있다.”라고 밝혔다.
