[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 의정부시는 관내 중소기업을 대상으로 2022년 소규모 기업환경 개선사업에 대한 수요조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

소규모 기업환경 개선사업은 관내 중소기업의 열악한 환경을 개선하기 위해 노동환경 개선, 작업환경 개선 등 2개 분야로 나눠 추진하고, 노동환경 개선 분야는 종업원 200명 미만이며 최근 3년 매출액 평균이 300억 원 이하인 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 기숙사, 휴게실, 화장실 등의 설치 및 개·보수를 지원하며, 작업환경 개선 분야는 종업원 50명 미만의 영세 제조기업을 대상으로 작업공간 개·보수, 적재대, 환기·집진장치, LED 조명 설치 등을 지원하는 사업이라고 했다. 

특히, 내년부터는 자체 소방시설 설치 및 개·보수에 대한 지원을 우선 선정하여 화재사고 예방에 총력을 기울일 방침이며, 화상회의실 구축 및 컨베이어 작업대 등 비대면 디지털화 사업을 신규 지원하여 코로나19 확산 방지에 기여할 계획이고, 개선사업 지원대상으로 선정되면 총사업비의 70%, 최대 4천만 원을 지원받을 수 있으며, 10인 미만 사업장의 경우 총사업비의 80%, 최대 4천500만 원까지 지원 혜택이 늘어나 작업 및 근로환경이 열악한 중소 제조기업이 사업비의 30~20%만 부담하면 시설개선을 할 수 있으며, 단, 세금 체납 기업 및 최근 5년간 본 사업 수혜기업은 지원 대상에서 제외된다고 했다.

고현숙 지역경제과장은 “소규모 기업환경 개선사업이 기업경쟁력 강화는 물론 근로자들의 복지 향상을 통하여 고용안정과 일자리 창출에 기여하는 바가 커 중소기업들의 관심과 호응이 크다”며 “코로나19로 경제적 어려움을 겪는 중소기업이 위기를 극복할 수 있도록 앞으로도 적극적인 지원을 할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

사업 참여를 희망하는 기업은 신청서 및 제출서류를 구비하여 오는 9월 30일까지 의정부시청 지역경제과에 접수하면 된다고 했다.
