[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 19일, 녹양종합사회복지관은 국제로타리3690지구 의정부로타리클럽과와 함께 ‘사랑의 물품 나눔 직업 봉사’를 진행하였다고 밝혔다.

이번 ‘사랑의 물품 나눔 직업 봉사’는 의정부로타리클럽의 회원인 탑크린 박길수 대표가 마련한 생필품을 20명의 회원이 함께 포장하고 지원하는 나눔 봉사로 진행되었으며 녹양종합사회복지관을 통해 돌봄 사업 참여자 150가정에 제공될 예정이라고 했다.  

의정부로타리클럽은 사회복지 돌봄활동을 중심으로 주거환경개선, 장학금지원, 명절맞이 봉사활동 등 다양한 형태의 이웃사랑을 실천하며 나눔 문화 확산을 위한 지역사회 공헌활동을 지속하고 있다고 했다. 

의정부로타리클럽 박돈신 회장은 “마땅히 해야 하는 이웃 돌봄의 기회가 녹양종합사회복지관을 통해 마련되고 함께 하게 되어 기쁘며, 앞으로도 다양한 지원이 연계될 수 있도록 노력하는 의정부로타리클럽이 되겠다.” 며 지속적인 협력의지를 나타냈다. 

녹양종합사회복지관 공완식 관장은 “의정부 흥선권역 주민들의 더 나은 삶을 위해 물심양면으로 애써주심에 감사드리며, 이번 활동을 시작으로 의정부로타리클럽이 지역사회 복지 증진을 위해 동행하는 소중한 파트너가 되어 기쁘다.”고 전했다.
