[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 12일 캠코는 ‘의정부 송산3동 공공복합청사*’ 건설현장에서 문성유 캠코 사장이 시공사, 건설사업관리단 직원 등 관계자들과 함께 여름철 사업장 특별 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 특별점검은 코로나19 재확산과 건설현장 사고 등이 잇따르는 가운데, ‘안전 최우선’ 경영방침을 바탕으로 코로나19와 폭염으로부터 근로자를 보호하고, 사고예방에 중점을 둠으로써 안전문화를 실천․확산하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

특히, 의정부 건설현장은 준공을 앞두고 마감공사 등에 많은 인력이 투입돼 각별한 주의가 필요한 만큼, 문성유 사장은 기본 안전시설·수칙 준수 여부 등을 꼼꼼히 확인하고 기본수칙 준수의 중요성을 거듭 강조했다고 했다.

이날 캠코는 기본 안전수칙 이외 전문가들과 함께 용접으로 인한 화재·폭발사고 예방, 건설기계와 근로자간 충돌방지 조치, 유사시 긴급복구를 위한 인력･장비 배치 상태 등 안전관리 실태 전반을 점검했다고 전했다.
