주차장은 주차면수 약 50면으로 기존 임시주차장 부지와 건물 1개동 철거를 통해 주차장 공간을 확보하였고 오는 8월 준공을 목표로 추진 중이며, 주차장이 완공되면 생연로 음식문화거리 불법주차 문제가 상당 부분 해결되어 쾌적한 도심 환경 조성에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다고 말했다.

현재 추진현황으로는 노후 하수관로 정비, 보도 설치, 전선·통신선 지중화 사업, 가로수 식재, 상가 간판 및 파사드 설치로 가로경관을 개선하였으며, 청춘로드 1구간 5060 청춘로, 2구간 생연 음식문화거리, 3구간 테마가로수길과 양키 스트리트 조성을 완료하여 지역경제의 구심점 역할을 할 수 있는 특화거리를 조성하였고 했다.
