[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7월 13일 의정부시는 민주평화통일자문회의 의정부시협의회가 청년 대학생, 자문위원 등 48명이 참여한 가운데 온라인 제3기 청년세대 통일리더 아카데미를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 아카데미는 코로나19 확산 예방을 위해 비대면 온라인으로 개최되었으며 7월 13일부터 27일까지 이평순 기획홍보분과위원장의 진행으로 총 5회가 진행된다고 했다.

의정부시협의회는 이번 아카데미에서 청년층의 평화통일 공론의 장을 마련하고 한반도 평화에 대한 청년세대들의 생각 공유와 평화공감대 확산을 위해 ‘디아 스포라, 평화와 통일’을 주제로 온라인 강연과 사진& 영화제 및 현장학습을 실시할 예정이라고 했다. 

윤상용 협의회장은  “미래 한반도 평화의 주역인 청년들의 역할과 참여를 확대할 수 있도록 네트워크를 구축하고 민주평통이 플랫폼 역할로써 한반도 평화정착을 위해 적극 노력해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
