[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 6월 29일 청평면지역사회보장협의체는 올해 2분기 생신을 맞으신 독거 어르신을 대상으로『세상에서 가장 기쁜 날, 생신 축하&선물 나눔』사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다. 

청평면지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 직접 만든 미역국, 잡채, 과일, 불고기, 떡과 선물을 준비하여 생신을 맞이한 지역 내 독거어르신 10분에게 전달하였으며, 안동석 청평면장도 인근 독거 어르신 집을 방문하여 생신상 및 선물을 전달하고 생신을 축하드렸다고 했다. 

생신상을 받으신 어르신중에는 너무 고맙다며, 면사무소로 전화를 주신분도 있고 감동하여 눈물을 글썽이신 분도 있었다고 전했다.

이번 사업에는 청평시장방앗간과 조원유통에서 무료 공임(떡 맞춤) 및 고기 후원에 적극적으로 나서주셔서 어르신들을 위한 맛있는 음식을 충분히 준비 할 수 있었다고 했다. 

청평면 주민들과 맞춤형복지팀 그리고 청평면지역사회보장협의체의 협력을 통해 지역 내 소외된 어르신들에게 따뜻한 생신상을 제공할 수 있어서 더욱 뜻깊은 행사였으며, 청평면 안동석면장을 비롯한 청평면지역사회보장협의체는 앞으로도 더 나은 복지서비스를 제공 할 수 있도록 노력할 뜻을 밝혔다.
