경원선 문화완행 열차는 동두천을 지나는 5개 역을 중심으로, 각 역마다 주제를 설정하여, 관내 예술단체, 연주 동아리, 지역 예술인 등이 다양한 공연을 보여주는 문화행사이라고 했다. 

이담농악 보존회의 길놀이 공연으로 시작된 행사는 동두천 색소폰 연주회, 국악예술단, 가수 모모킴 등이 출연하여 공연 및 연주를 선보였고, 이번 행사 말미에는 국민MC 송해 씨가 특별출연하여, 동두천에 대한 에피소드 소개와 트로트 공연을 선보여 흥을 돋웠으며, 이날 행사에 참석한 최용덕 시장이 송해 선생님께 감사패를 전달했다고 말했다.  

시 관계자는 향후 행사내용을 시 유튜브 등에 게시해, 시민들이 시청할 수 있도록 할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
