이번 사업은 신재생에너지 보급 확대를 위해 정부사업 대상으로 선정된 가구에 한해 시비 5천2백만원을 투입해, 선착순으로 약 56가구에 추가 보조금을 지급하고. 이에 따라 3kW 태양광의 총 설치비 약 461만원 가운데, 국비 230만원과 함께 도비 및 시비 92만원을 지원받게 되며, 신청가구는 도비 보조금 변동으로 93만원~139만원을 부담하면 된다고 했다.
