[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 4월 5일 녹양동주민센터는 녹양동 실내 빙상경기장 옆 유휴공간에 ‘희망의 숲’ 조성을 기념하기 위해 식수 희망자 20여 명과 함께 식수 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

 
주민이 직접 나무를 심고 가꾸는 ‘희망의 숲’ 조성을 위해 녹양동은 홍보 전단 배포 및 안내 문자 발송 등의 방식으로 지난 3월 8일부터 21일까지 주민 홍보를 실시하여 참여자를 모집하는 동시에 실내 빙상경기장 옆 비활용 부지를 사업 대상지로 선정하여 조림터를 조성했다고 말했다.

기념식수에 참여한 주민들은 조림터에 구덩이를 파고 꽃사과나무 20그루를 식재하여 번영, 건강 등 본인의 소망을 담을 표찰을 걸었다고 했다.

 
이번 행사는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 사회적 거리두기 지침에 따라 참여자 명부 작성, 발열 체크, 마스크 착용, 거리두기 등을 철저히 준수하며 진행되었다고 말했다.
