시는 원활한 사업 진행을 위해 씨앗과 모종을 지원하고 있으며, 평일 상시 유선상담을 실시하고, 5월부터는 매 주말 도시농업 전문가를 텃밭 현장에 투입하여 분양자들에게 사용설명, 재배요령 등 내실 있는 교육을 제공해 손쉽게 도시농업에 참여할 수 있도록 지원한다고 했다.
