[안종욱 기자=경기북부] 가평군농업기술센터(소장 장동규)는 전문농업인 육성과 농업기술 배움의 기회를 제공하고자, 유기농업기능사반 교육생을 오는 3월 26일까지, 총 40명 모집한다고 밝혔다.

교육기간은 4월 16일부터 8월 13일까지 12회, 총40시간(이론 30시간, 실습 10시간)의 과정으로 매주 금요일에 4시간씩 진행되며, 교육 목표는 유기농업의 지식과 기술을 습득함으로 건전한 친환경 농산물 생산과 전문농업인 육성에 있으며, 국가기술자격증 유기농업기능사를 취득하기 위한 작물재배·토양관리·유기농업 일반 등의 내용으로 구성되어 있다.

유기농업기능사는 한국산업인력공단에서 추진하는 국가기술자격증으로, 유기농업의 중요성이 높아지면서 전문농업인력을 육성하기 위해 신설되었다. 

유기농업기능사는 윤작체계 및 자재의 선정, 토양비옥도 및 병해충방지, 시비방법 선정 사료 확보 등 생산, 축사 설계, 축사분뇨처리업무와 유기농산물 원료의 가공·포장·유통 직무를 수행한다.

교육대상은 농업인 또는 농업자격증 취득에 관심있는 가평군민으로,  2021년 정기 기능사(유기농업기능사)3회 시험을 응시해야 한다. 또한 유기농업기능사 자격증을 취득할 시 향후 농업기술센터에서 운영하는 도시농업관리사 과정에서 우선적으로 선발될 수 있다.
