[안종욱 기자= 경기북부] 한국생활개선 가평군연합회장 이·취임식이 19일 농업기술센터 대회의실에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 전현직 임원 및 역대 생활개선회장 등 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 양혜정 회장(53·가평읍)이 제14대 신임회장으로 취임했다고 말했다.

양 회장은 2002년부터 생활개선회 활동을 시작하여 가평읍 생활개선회장, 연합회 수석부회장 등을 역임 하였으며, 앞으로“가평군 생활개선회가 여성 리더 단체로서의 역할을 성실히 수행하고  농촌여성의 권익향상을 위해 생동감 넘치는 생활개선회가 되도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

취임식 과 아울러 전직 임원들과 권오경 회장등 역대 회장들에게 감사품을 전달하였으며, 새롭게 구성된 신임 회장단에게는 인준서가 전달되었다었다고 밝혔다.

신임 회장단의  부회장으로는 백경희(55, 가평읍), 함미경(57, 설악면), 조중옥(57,청평면)씨가 감사로는 이숙화(63, 설악면), 조정숙(65,가평읍)씨가 사무국장은 황정순(51,설악면)씨가 맡게 되었다고 했다.

한국생활개선 가평군연합회는 1994년 설립되어 6개 읍면지회 및 2개 분과(우리음식,  규방공예) 261명으로 구성되어 있다.  생활개선회는 농촌여성의 역량강화를 위한 각종 과제 교육  및 연찬회를 연중 20회 이상 추진하고 있으며, 노인복지관 급식 및 김장나눔 등 각종 지역 봉사활동도 정기적으로 참여하고 있다.

특히 작년 자라섬 남도 꽃테마공원 개방행사시 장학금 기금 마련 농특산물 행사를 개최 3천만원의 장학금을 기탁하기도였다. 이번 14대 회장단은 2023년까지 3년간 가평군 생활개선회를 이끌어 갈 계획이라고 했다.
