[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시는 지난 22일 주민 스스로 마을의 문제를 해결하는 2023 행복한 동해만들기 위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

행복한동해만들기 사업은 마을 주도형 공동체, 이웃과 더불어 살고 서로의 배려가 묻어나는 행복 공동체 형성을 위해 추진되고 있는 사업이다.

시는 지난 2016년도 행복한 동해만들기 지원 조례 제정 이후, 매년 사업선정을 위한 공모 절차를 진행하여 해당 위원회 심의를 거쳐 공동체를 선정하여 지원해 주고 있다.

이에따라, 올해는 ▶한마음되기 7개 사업, ▶지역가꾸기 2개 사업, ▶시민 소양쌓기 3개 사업, ▶공동체문화 조성을 위한 동 단위 행사에 9개 사업 등 총 21개 사업에 약 93백만원의 신청액이 접수되었으며, 심의를 통해 총 예산액 5천만원 한도내에서 확정된 사업에 대해 사업당 최고 5백만원이 지원된다.

특히, 올해부터는 실무부서의 정량평가,위원들의 정성평가 결과를 합산해 우선순위에 따라 사업을 선정할 방침이다.

김재희 행정과장은 “작지만 정주 여건이 우수한 행복도시 동해를 만들기 위해 최선의 노력을 다할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
