[서종협 기자 = 평창군] 평창군 용평면 남녀새마을지도자협의회(회장 최기철·정해옥)는 14일 금송회관에서 이웃돕기 기금 마련을 위한 ‘희망·사랑나눔 일일찻집’을 열었다고 밝혔다.

일일찻집은 지역 내 소외된 이웃에 대한 관심을 높이고, 함께 살아가는 사회분위기를 조성하고자 마련하였으며, 새마을지도자협의회 회원들은 전날부터 준비한 다과와 따뜻한 차를 정성스럽게 대접했다.

최기철·정해옥 회장은 “오늘 일일찻집에 참석해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드리며, 이번 행사를 통해 얻은 수익금은 관내 이웃돕기를 위해 전액 기탁할 예정이다”라고 밝혔다.

정유진 용평면장은 “더불어 사는 지역사회를 만드는 데 새마을지도자협의회 회원들이 항상 적극적으로 활동해 주셔서 감사드린다”라며, “앞으로도 주변 이웃을 돌보고 따뜻한 지역사회를 함께 만들어 가겠다”라고 전했다.
