[서종협 기자 = 평창군] 평창군(군수 심재국)은 지역사회 치매 돌봄 강화 및 치매환자 가족의 경제적 부양부담 경감을 위해 내년부터 소득기준 제한 없이 치매치료관리비를 확대 지원한다고 밝혔다.

이에 따라 현재 투약유무 확인이 필요한 대상자 및 약제비 미신청자 643명에 대하여 전수조사를 실시해 환자의 건강 상태, 장기요양 등급판정 및 시설 입소 여부를 조사하여 관내 치매 환자를 체계적으로 관리할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

 지원금액은 월 3만 원(연 36만 원) 한도 내 당월 약제비와 진료비 본인부담금으로 처방 개월 수에 따라 실비로 일괄 지급한다.

 심재국 평창군수는 “이번 치매치료관리비 지원 확대로 지자체 중심의 돌봄 체계를 강화하고, 치매 진단 시 약 복용 등 초기 집중 관리로 치매 증상 호전 및 악화 지연과 동시에 치매 환자를 부양하는 가족들의 경제적 부담을 경감시켜 줄 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다.
