[서종협 기자 = 평창군] 중부내륙중심권 행정협력회(의장 평창군수 심재국)는 2022년 4일(화) 강원도 평창군 휘닉스 평창 호텔에서 회원 시군관계자 약120여 명이 참가한 가운데 정기회와 더불어 화합행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

중부내륙중심권 행정협력회는 강원(평창, 영월), 충북(제천, 단양), 경북(영주, 봉화) 3개 도의 6개 시군이 지역주의를 해소하고 공통의 지역 현안 및 관심사업에 대한 공동협력을 추진하고자 2004년 12월 9일에 출범한 협의회로, 그동안 약100여 건의 공동 협력사업 및 현안사업을 적극 추진하여 6개 시군간 균형발전을 위해 노력하고 있다.

심재국 평창군수는 “오늘 정기회를 통해 다양한 협력사업을 발굴하여 지역발전과 주민복리 증진에 기여할 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠으며, 중부내륙중심권 행정협력회가 자치단체간 협치행정의 수범사례가 될 수 있도록 앞장서 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
