[김준호 기자 = 영월군] 영월군(군수 최명서)은 2022년도 강원도 기업형 새농촌 우수마을 공모에 도약마을 용석3리 ‘다목적센터’, 선도마을 도천2리 '유휴공간 리모델링' 2개소가 선정되었다고 밝혔다.

도약마을에 선정된 용석3리는 주민공동시설인 ‘다목적센터’ 1동을 신축하여 주민 공동체 활동과 문화·복지공간으로 활용할 계획이며, 선도마을에 선정된 도천2리는 '유휴공간 리모델링'을 통하여 도시민과의 교류, 체험  등을 위한 다목적 공간으로서 지역공동체적 가치를 계승할 수 있는 장소로 활용할 계획이다.

도약마을은 총 5억 원 내외의 사업비를 지원하며, 이중 3억 원은 올해(‘22년) 지원하고, 나머지 2억 원은 2024년 중간 평가를 거쳐 지원하며 선도마을은 올해(’22년) 총 2억 원의 사업비를 지원한다.

시상식은 11월 11일 강원도와 강원일보사가 공동주최하는 ‘강원도 농업인대상 시상식’과 함께 열린다.
