[김준호 기자 = 정선군]  정선향교(전교 윤형중)는 9월 1일 오전 11시 정선향교 대성전에서 2022년도 추기 석전대제를 봉행했다.

이날 추기 석전대제의 초헌관에는 김기철 강원도의회 경제통상위원장, 아헌관에는 김성영 유림회원, 종헌관에는 남성기 유림회원이 맡았으며, 유림회원 및 지역주민 약 70여명이 참석하였다.

석전대제에서는 초헌관이 분향하고 폐백을 올리는 전폐례를 시작으로 초헌례, 아헌례, 종헌례, 분헌례, 음복례, 망료례 순으로 진행되었다.

석전대제는 전통문화 계승과 문묘제례 전승을 위하여 국가무형문화재 제85호로 지정되었다. 매년 음력 2월과 8월의 상정일(上丁日)에 성균관 및 향교에서 공자를 비롯한 선성(先聖)과 선현(先賢)들에게 제사를 지낸다

윤형중 정선향교 전교는 석전은 제자가 스승을 받드는 교육문화의 훌륭한 미덕을 계승하는 자리로 정선향교가 전통문화를 이어가는데 앞장서겠다고 말했다.
