[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 전국 13개 시도 중도·보수 교육감 후보(중도·보수 후보 불출마 4곳 제외)들은 5월 17일 오후 2시, 국회 소통관에서 ‘전국 중도·보수 교육감 후보 연대’ 출범식을 갖고 중도·보수 교육감 시대를 향한 첫발을 내딛는다고 밝혔다.

오는 6.1 지방선거에 강원도 유대균 교육감 후보를 비롯한 전국의 중도·보수 후보들이 연대를 결성, 그동안 좌파 권력이 지배해온 대한민국 공교육의 정상화를 결의하고 나섰다고 했다.

이날 출범식에는 경기 임태희 후보, 서울 조전혁 후보, 부산 하윤수 후보, 인천 최계운 후보를 비롯해 강원 유대균 후보가 강원도 교육감 후보들 중에서는 유일하게 중도·보수 후보자로서 연대에 참여했다.

중교연은 ‘반지성주의 아웃(Out)’ ‘반자유주의 아웃(Out)’ ‘전교조 교육 아웃(Out)’이라는 슬로건을 내걸고 정책연대와 지지연대, 선거캠페인 연대를 함께하기로 했다.

유대균 강원도 교육감 후보는 “이번 중도·보수 교육감 후보자 연대는 전국 시도 대표 후보자들이 모두 함께 했다”며 “진보 좌파 전교조 교육에 짓눌려온 강원교육을 살리는데 전국의 후보들과 연대해 이뤄낼 것”이라고 말했다.
