[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 지난 13일, 제5기(2023~2026) 지역사회보장계획 수립을 위한 연구용역 착수보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

지역사회보장계획은 '사회보장급여법'에 따른 것으로 지역주민 욕구 및 지역자원 등 복지환경을 고려해 지역사회의 다양한 주체들의 참여로 4년마다 수립하는 법정계획이라고 했다. 

보고회는 전문가 및 주민으로 구성된 5기 지역사회보장계획 TF 위원 및 연구용역을 수행하는 대진대학교 산학협력단 연구원 등 25명이 참석했고, 제4기 지역사회보장계획에 대한 평가 및 제5기 지역사회보장계획 추진계획의 보고 등으로 진행됐다.

시는 지난해 실효성 있는 계획 수립을 위해 경기복지재단를 통해 포천시민 800가구를 표본 추출하고 방문 면접 및 온라인 조사를 병행하여 지역주민욕구조사를 실시했다. 

시민의 다양한 의견을 수렴해 올해 9월까지 제5기 지역사회보장계획을 수립하고 2026년까지 실행할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 

정덕채 부시장은 “연구용역을 수행하는 대진대학교 산학협력단과 TF팀이 협력해 지역 특성과 다양한 주민의 욕구를 반영해 시민이 공감할 수 있는 실효성 있는 지역사회보장계획 수립에 최선을 다해줄 것을 당부한다.”고 전했다.
