[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 음악도서관은 제58회 도서관 주간을 맞이해 스페셜 콘텐츠인 블랙뮤직을 테마로 힙합 & 재즈 아카데미와 의정부 출신 랩퍼의 힙합 공연을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

도서관주간이란 매년 4월 12일부터 4월 18일까지 1주일을 정해 시민들의 도서관 이용 활성화, 새로운 도서관 문화 창출 기회 토론의 장, 독서 활성화 캠페인의 장으로 마련하고 있으며 올해로 58주년을 맞이했고, 제58회 도서관주간의 주제는 ‘도서관 책과, 당신을 잇다’로 선정됐다고 했다.

지역문화를 반영해 혁신적인 공간 디자인으로 개관 이후 전국적인 사랑과 관심을 받아온 의정부음악도서관의 이번 도서관주간 행사는 음악도서관의 정체성을 반영해 ‘도서관 책과, 음악을 잇다’를 부제로 지역 음악문화를 활성화하고, 시민들의 음악 예술 향유 기회를 확대하고 새로운 문화 창출 기회를 부여하기 위해 기획됐다고 전했다.

세부 프로그램은 의정부 출신 힙합 크리에이터 수환오가 청소년을 대상으로 힙합 문화의 역사를 짚어보며, 청소년들이 힙합의 당당한 멋을 자신의 삶에 적용할 수 있도록 소통하는 힙합아카데미와 모던재즈 해설가 김아리가 들려주는 영화 속 재즈 이야기와 재즈피아니스트 강승훈의 연주가 어우러지는 재즈아카데미, 수환오와 쇼미더머니 본선 진출 랩퍼 스카이민혁의 ‘의정부 스카이’ 힙합 콘서트가 준비돼 있다고 했다.
