[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 21일 동해시의회는 제316회 동해시의회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 열어 시정질문(이창수·이정학·임응택 의원)을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이창수 의원은 동해안권경제자유구역청 망상1지구 사업에 대한 동해시 향후 대응계획, 최근 10년간 공유재산 관리계획 중 의회 승인을 거치지 않은 목록, 북평화력발전소 건설 관련 협약사업 이행내역 등에 관하여 질의했다.

특히, 재산의 취득 및 처분에 있어 관련 법령 위반 가능성과 북평화력발전소 협약사업 추진과정에서의 특정업체 일감 몰아주기에 대해 의혹을 제기하면서 동해시에는 관련 자료 공개를 촉구하고, 동료 의원에는 관련 사항에 관한 조사위원회 구성을 제안했다고 전했다.

이정학 의원은 한섬개발업무 진행 현황 및 향후 계획, 삼척 블루파워가 동해시 환경에 미치는 영향과 관련한 동해시 대책 등에 관하여 질의했다.

임응택 의원은 순세계잉여금 발생내역, 묵호~울릉도간 여객선 운항계획, 동별 공동주택 현황 등 10건에 대하여 질의했다.

특히, 알기 쉬운 예산서 작성과 순세계잉여금 관리방식 개선을 제안하였으며, 아파트 신축에 있어 동별 불균형을 지적하며 지역의 균형 발전을 위해 동호·발한 지역에 세심한 관심을 당부했다.
