[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 17일, 의정부시는 모범시민으로 선정된 김귀숙 사회복지사에게 의정부시장 표창장을 전수했다고 밝혔다.

김귀숙 씨는 의정부시중독관리통합지원센터 소속 사회복지사로 일하며 알코올·인터넷·도박 중독 등으로 어려움에 처한 사람들의 회복과 사회 복귀를 지원해 타에 모범을 보인 공로를 인정받아 이번 표창을 수여 받았다고 했다.

윤무현 복지국장은 “코로나19 상황으로 인해 표창을 전수하게 됨에 아쉬움을 표하며, 건강한 사회를 만들기 위해 노력해주신 김귀숙 사회복지사에게 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 의정부시의 복지 발전을 위해 힘써주시길 바란다”고 당부했다.
