[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 3일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 ‘나라키움 남양주복합청사*’ 개발 현장(경기도 남양주)에서 신흥식 캠코 부사장이 시공사, 건설사업관리단 등 관계자들과 함께 건설 현장 특별 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 캠코는 개발 현장의 핵심 안전조치(추락, 끼임, 보호구) 여부와 지반 침하․균열 등 위험요소 관리, 추락방지시설 설치, 화재ㆍ폭발사고 예방 등 해빙기에 선제적으로 주의해야 할 16개 항목을 집중 점검했다고 전했다. 

신흥식 캠코 부사장은 현장 점검을 마치고, 근로자 및 협력사 관계자들과 즉석 간담회를 실시하여, 현장의 애로사항과 안전예방을 위한 개선점에 대해 쌍방향 의견을 나누는 소통의 시간도 가졌다고 전했다.

특히, 올해 캠코는 ｢중대재해 처벌 등에 관한 법률｣이 시행되는 원년인 만큼, 9년 연속 중대재해 ‘ZERO’를 목표로, 경영진 특별점검과 고위험사업장 특별점검, 외부전문가 안전점검 등 현장 점검을 촘촘히 추진할 계획이라고 전했다.

신흥식 캠코 부사장은 “해빙기 건설 현장에서는 작은 방심이 안전사고와 직결될 수 있으므로 각별한 주의가 필요하다”며, “캠코는 현장 근로자와 국민들의 안전이 보장받는 건설 현장을 만들기 위해 경영진 주도로 개발 현장 안전관리에 총력을 기울이겠다”라고 말했다.
