[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 30일 오전 10시 동해시의회는 동해시의회 의장실에서 현재 코로나19 방역상황과 연말연시 특별방역대책에 대해 현안을 청취하였다고 밝혔다.

이날 자리에는 동해시 안전과장과 보건소 예방관리과장이 함께 하였으며, 코로나19 오미크론 변이 확산으로 신규 확진자가 연일 최고치를 경신하고 있으며 최근 관내 확진자 추세도 연말연시를 맞아 결코 안심할 수 없는 상황 속에서 의회 차원에서 시 방역관리대책에 대해 청취하고 관련 대응책을 모색하기 위해 이뤄졌다고 했다.  

김기하 의장은 “동해시민의 안전한 연말연시 맞이에 고생하는 공직자의 노고에 감사드린다”면서 “연말연시 특별방역에 의회에서도 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
