[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일 동두천시는 경기 국악원에서 관내 예술단체 3개 팀이 뉴미디어 예술방송국 운영을 위한 영상콘텐츠 촬영을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 동두천시에서 찾아가는 문화활동으로 선발된 예술단체 3개 팀 '한국국악협회동두천지부, 이담농악보존회, 동두천국악예술단'이 무관중 공연을 진행했다고 전했다. 

예술방송국은 코로나19 장기화로 무대에 설 자리가 좁아진 예술인들을 위해 공연 영상 제작을 지원하고 공연비를 지급하는 사업이고, 한국국악협회동두천지부 등 3개 단체는 동두천시를 대표하는 국악 예술단체로 이날 공연에서 한국무용, 가야금병창, 경기민요, 사물놀이 등 우리 전통음악을 선보였다고 했다.

김경수 동두천국악협회지부장은 “공연 기회를 마련해준 경기도와 동두천시에 감사하며 실제 관객들 앞에서 자유롭게 공연하는 날이 빨리 찾아오길 바란다”고 전했다. 

제작된 공연 영상은 경기아트센터 유튜브를 통해 누구나 시청할 수 있게 게시될 예정이라고 했다.
