[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 생활밀착형 공공서비스 제공 및 지역특색사업 추진 등 지역주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 의정부2동 행복마을 관리소를 개소했다고 밝혔다.

9월 23일부터 본격적으로 운영하는 관리소는 공개모집으로 채용된 행복마을 지킴이와 사무원 5명이 공구대여, 취약지역 안전순찰, 취약계층 돌봄 등 생활 속 불편을 해소하고 주민편의를 위한 공공서비스를 제공한다. 서비스 이용을 원하는 주민은 전화 또는 방문을 통해 접수 가능하다고 했다.

시는 2018년부터 의정부1동 경기행복마을관리소를 운영하고 있으며 이번 의정부2동 경기 행복마을관리소를 추가 개소함에 따라 지역에 맞는 특색사업을 확대하고 치안, 복지 등 주민 생활에 밀접한 정책사업과 연계하여 공공서비스의 질을 높일 예정이라고 했다.
