[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 27일부터 12월 3일까지 양주시 서부 건강생활지원센터는 유아·어린이를 대상으로 한 비대면 통합형 건강증진프로그램 ‘찾아가는 감동이 건강교실’ 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 건강교실은 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 잠정 휴관 중인 어린이건강체험관에서 진행해 온 건강증진 프로그램을 비대면 방식으로 운영하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

프로그램은 어린이건강체험관에서 자체 제작한 애니메이션을 시청 후 금연, 금주, 신체활동, 위생, 영양, 안전 등 영역별 체험키트와 교재를 활용해 어린이 눈높이에 맞춘 건강영역별 체험교육을 실시하는 방식으로 진행된다고 했다.

참여를 희망하는 어린이집·유치원은 양주시 서부건강생활지원센터로 연락해 사전 예약 후 교육영상이 담긴 USB와 체험교구 등을 최대 일주일간 무료로 대여할 수 있다고 했다.

양주시 건강생활지원센터 관계자는 “어린이건강체험관에서 추진하는 영역별 건강교육을 코로나 시대에 맞게 재정비해 비대면 대여사업으로 실시하게 됐다”며 “이번 프로그램을 통해 어린이들이 건강관리에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 긍정적인 생활습관을 형성할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
