[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 8일, 의정부시 장암동 주민센터는 사랑의 열매 경기사회복지공동모금회 주관 ‘착한일터’에 가입하고 현판식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

‘착한일터’는 법인 또는 단체 등의 임직원들이 매달 급여에서 약정한 후원금을 기부하는 경우 가입이 가능하며, 장암동 주민센터에서는 지난 6월부터 장암동 지역사회보장협의체와 협력하여 사회복지공동모금회를 통한 정기후원 사업인 ‘장암동 이웃사랑 CMS’사업을 진행하고 있으며, 장암동 직원들이 이 사업을 통한 정기후원에 적극적으로 참여함으로써 사랑의 열매에서 ‘착한일터’로 인증을 받게 되었다고 했다.

정기후원을 통해 적립된 성금 전액은 장암동의 어려운 이웃을 위한 사업에 사용된다. 장암동에서는 올해 위기가구 생계비 지원, 한부모 세대주 건강검진 사업, 홀몸어르신을 위한 반려식물 지원사업, 명절맞이 저소득층 지원사업 등 다양한 복지사업을 추진했다고 했다.
